The Mas de Longuefeuille is in the country only 5 mns from Malaucène, a charming village with about 3.000 inhabitants. Local facilities include: a small supermarket, laundrette, dry cleaners, numerous shops and plenty of restaurants and cafes.
The local climate, particularly in summer, is pleasant because the tempering effect of the Mont Ventoux (known wordwilde as a cycling pilgrimage) and the proximity to the source of the local river, "the Groseau" .
We are in the center of a region steeped in history and cultural heritage:
- Vaison la Romaine and its famous roman ruins (10mns away)
- Carpentras with its pedestrian zoned shopping area (15 mns away)
- Orange with its antique amphitheatre (30 mns away)
- Avignon the regional capital and famous home of the papal dynasty (45 mns away)
On the terrace you can have your the breakfast in the morning and in the evening, it is perfect for relaxing.
The domaine covering 4 hectares, is a havan of peace and quiet. The surrounding hills are ideal for strolling and rambling.
The recent renovation retains the typical character of a traditionnal farm in Provence.
The full continental breakfast includes: tea or coffee, fruit juice,
assortiment of pastries and jams.This will be served either indoors
or outdoors, as you like and depending on weather conditions.
